On location in Rogers City, MI in the vicinity where the object was shot down over Lake Huron on Sunday, February 12, 2023. This was supposed to be the staging area for the recovery effort. X reported from here on February 13, 2023.

As of this morning, a source from Rogers City, Michigan indicated that still, there has been no contact or visit from federal officials. No recovery aircraft or boat activity witnessed to this point. United States citizens and some law makers are being told that recovery efforts are under way. That doesn't appear to be the case on the Lake Huron object that was shot down.
