Coupart © is an original abstract painting method created by artist Mark “X” Eiden, inspired by Jackson Pollock yet unlike anything in the art world. Instead of dripping paint, X uses controlled small and medium pyrotechnic charges to blast acrylic paint onto 16" x 20" canvases, resulting in wild, unrepeatable patterns and textures—sometimes even minor canvas penetrations that serve as proof of authenticity. Each piece is permanently marked by the force that created it, and the completed, one-of-a-kind collection will be sold only as a single, unified body of work. The Coupart © collection consists of exactly 100 named and signed originals, created over a nine-year span and completed in 2024. X, a seasoned special effects master, has signed a legal affidavit stating he has never created artwork before this collection and will never create another piece again—making Coupart © his entire lifelong artistic legacy. With no possibility of expansion, duplication, or continuation, this collection stands as a rare, finite, and authentic expression of a bold new art form. (Now Available)
